Emirates Canadian University College organized a ceremony to honor the top high school students in Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah. That was in the presence of His Excellency Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the College Board of Trustees, Saeed Ali Bin Hussain, Acting Director of Umm Al Quwain Educational Zone, ECUC academic and administrative staff, representatives of community institutions, outstanding students, and their parents

During the ceremony, Dr. Galal Hatem, President of the university college, announced the award of 10 full and partial scholarships to outstanding high school students as directed by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, to motivate them to complete their education.

 

Dr. Hatem stressed that the programs offered by the university college in Umm Al Quwain, are gaining more demand from new students after obtaining academic accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education for all these programs.

He added that the purpose of this initiative is to encourage outstanding students to achieve more excellence and success, and direct them towards the mechanism of choosing the appropriate university majors, to paint the future.

During the ceremony, the first phase of ECUC new campus, located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, was reviewed.
