Co-operation between Umm Al Quwain Police & ECUC to strengthen both of educational & security process

Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmad Al Mualla, Commander-in- chief of Umm Al Quwain Police; and HE Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Emirates Canadian University College ECUC, signed a memorandum of understanding to support & develop partnership between the two sides in all fields.
 
 
 
The MoU was signed in the Headquarters of Umm Al Quwain Police, with the presence of Professor Galal Hatem, the Dean of ECUC; Colonel Khalifa Al Shamsi, Manager of the Office of Umm Al Quwain Police's Commander-in- chief; Colonel Sultan Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the General Directorate for Human Resources at Umm Al Quwain Police.
 
 
 
Signing this MoU comes in the context of mutual endeavor from the part of both sides to embody its respective social responsibility through co-operation with local community institutions & keeping the pioneering status of Umm Al Quwain in the vital fields, as these institutions are deemed an active partner in the progress of the UAE & principal contributor to its developmental march.
 
 
 
 Major General Sheikh Al Mualla praised the great efforts & advanced scientific level shown by ECUC in providing Umm Al Quwain Police with experiences & qualified national cadres. He stressed the permanent keenness from the part of Umm Al Quwain Police to fortify bonds of co-operation & coordination with educational institutions in the major of scientific researches & specialized studies.
 
 
 
From his part, HE Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi underlined the persistence of  ECUC in consolidating the co-operation relationships with the leading authorities in the country, including Umm Al Quwain Police, and striving to upgrade the activities of common interests, and disseminating knowledge to contribute to promote the skills of national cadres.
 
 
 
Al Shamsi indicated that this co-operation aims to boost the efficiencies of Umm Al Quwain Police's staffs and qualify them via offering them study & convenient ambience, not to mention holding advanced training sessions for them to enable them of undertaking their missions in highly professional manner and according to systematic bases, to complement the role assumed by the security system in establishing security within the UAE community.
 
 
 
This MoU prescribed that the two sides co-operate with each other in conducting projects, studies & scientific researches, holding common training sessions, forums, and workshops, reciprocating experiences, let alone offering scholarships in ECUC to Umm Al Quwain Police's staffs who want to resume their academic studies, and their relatives from the first & second degree.
 
 
 
Moreover, the two sides also agreed to form a committee to follow-up the MoU, & drafting a program for holding periodical meeting between their representatives, with the aim of strengthening partnership. It was also agreed that each side informs the other in case of holding exhibitions or scientific forums relevant to creative studies & extrapolating the future. Thus, the other side can participate therein.
