His Excellency, Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain, affirmed that the celebration of "Flag Day" is a renewal of the covenant to complete the development and giving process to keep our flag flying high among nations as a result to the love and work of the loyal citizens .
Al Shamsi added that the importance of this occasion is increasing due to its coinciding with the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God save and bless him, as the president of the country. It is an occasion to express our loyalty to our wise leadership, which has achieved the UAE's comprehensive development, and continued the process of construction and achievements, and raised it to an advanced position in the forefront of urbanization
